With Milo, I was pretty rigid and rule-oriented. With Coco, things have felt very different. I'm honestly not sure if it's confidence, exhaustion, more trust in my own intuition, or a combination of all three. But my parenting approach has completely shifted, and I like to think we're all better off for it.

I recently shared two carousels on Instagram that broke down some of these differences, and many of you said you've either made similar changes during round two, or that you're a first-time mom and posts like this remind you it’s okay to choose peace over perfection.

This week, I wanted to dive even deeper beyond those two posts and share everything I'm doing differently with my second baby (plus a few things I haven't talked about publicly yet). For those of you in the baby stage, I hope these give you permission to relax a bit. For anyone in a different stage of life, perhaps these will just make you laugh, help you reminisce, or give you some future inspiration.
