I used to think I could handle the occasional late night. That working until 9 PM and then watching an hour-long (dramatic) show didn’t affect my sleep quality. That the time I ate dinner was inconsequential to my night of sleep.
I've always tried to get a full night's sleep, but I genuinely thought skipping a few hours here and there made little to no difference.
Turns out I was very wrong. After years of tracking my sleep, I now know that anything less than 7 hours leaves me dragging. My sweet spot is 7 hours and 20 minutes, and I never would've figured that out without the actual data.
In today’s newsletter, I’m breaking down exactly how I track my sleep every single night, which metrics I analyze and focus on, and what I’ve learned about my health from all of this.
