Happy New Year! I hope you're starting 2026 feeling rested, hopeful, and motivated.

I've always had a complicated relationship with New Year’s resolutions. On the one hand, I love the “fresh start effect.” The idea that you can wake up on January 1st in a brand-new year and decide to be different, do better, try harder. On the other hand, I've set enough failed resolutions to know that declaring "this is the year I finally do that thing I’ve been saying I want to do!" doesn't actually make it so.

But here's what I've realized: resolutions aren't really about perfection or massive overnight transformations. They're about intention. They're about looking at your life honestly and asking, "What would make this better? What would make me feel better?"

This year, I'm not waiting for motivation to strike or for everything to align perfectly. I actually started implementing some of my biggest goals last month (in December) because I felt inspired and ready, and honestly, that might be the most important shift of all. Oh, and if you’re reading this on January 2nd and beating yourself up about how you’ve already failed 2026 because you didn’t follow your goals perfectly on the 1st, remember: it’s never too late. You can just... start.

So today, I'm sharing my goals and resolutions for 2026. Some are practical systems I'm putting in place. Some are wellness commitments I'm making to myself. And some are just mindset shifts that I'm hoping to carry through what's shaping up to be an incredibly busy, slightly chaotic, but hopefully really fulfilling year.

Let's get into it!
